🌰🐟 Groundnut Fish Sauce with Rice Balls (10m+)

Ingredients:

  • 2 tablespoons groundnut paste (unsweetened)

  • 1/2 cup cooked boneless fish (e.g., tilapia or mackerel)

  • 1 tablespoon onion (finely chopped)

  • 1 teaspoon vegetable or palm oil

  • 1/2 cup soft cooked rice (molded into small balls)

  • A little water (to adjust sauce consistency)


Instructions:

  1. Sauté onions
    In a small saucepan, heat oil and sauté onions until translucent.

  2. Add groundnut paste
    Stir in groundnut paste with a little water and simmer gently for 3–5 minutes.

  3. Add fish
    Flake in the cooked fish and stir well into the sauce. Let it simmer for 2–3 more minutes.

  4. Serve with rice balls
    Mold soft cooked rice into baby-sized balls and serve with the warm sauce.

  5. Cool & serve
    Ensure it’s at baby-safe temperature before feeding.
