🌴🍚 Baby Palm Oil Soup with Soft Rice (10m+)

Ingredients:

  • 1 teaspoon palm oil

  • 1/4 cup soft vegetables (e.g., garden eggs, carrots, okra – finely chopped)

  • 2 tablespoons mashed cooked fish, chicken, or beef (boneless)

  • 1/2 teaspoon finely chopped onion

  • 1/2 cup soft cooked rice (mold into small baby-size balls)

  • A little water or low-sodium stock


Instructions:

  1. Sauté onion in palm oil
    In a small pot, heat palm oil and lightly sauté onions until soft.

  2. Add vegetables and protein
    Add chopped vegetables and mashed fish/chicken/beef. Stir and cook for 3–5 minutes.

  3. Simmer with water
    Add a little water or mild baby-safe stock. Simmer gently until veggies are very soft and stew slightly thickens.

  4. Serve with soft rice balls
    Shape cooked rice into baby-sized balls and serve with a spoonful of soup.

  5. Cool & serve
    Let cool to safe feeding temperature before offering to baby.
