🌽 Corn & Chicken Porridge (7 Months +)
Ingredients (1–2 baby portions)

2 tablespoons Dr. Annie Yellow Corn Dates Cereal (or fine cornmeal)

2 tablespoons boneless chicken breast, finely chopped (or 1 teaspoon Dr. Annie Chicken Powder)

¾ cup water or homemade chicken stock (no salt)

1 teaspoon olive oil or vegetable oil

Optional: 1–2 tablespoons breastmilk/formula (added after cooking)
Preparation Steps
1. Cook the Chicken

In a small pot, add chicken and a few tablespoons of water.

Cook over low heat for 2–3 minutes until fully cooked, breaking into fine pieces.
2. Add Corn Base

Stir in corn cereal or cornmeal.

Add remaining water/stock and bring to a gentle boil.
3. Simmer Until Soft

Cook for 5–7 minutes (cornmeal) or according to cereal instructions, stirring often to prevent lumps.
4. Blend or Mash

For Stage 1 weaning: blend until smooth and creamy.

For Stage 2 texture: mash well with a fork.
5. Add Healthy Fats

Stir in olive oil before serving.

If desired, mix in a little breastmilk or formula once cooled slightly for creaminess.
Storage

Refrigerate in an airtight container for up to 24 hours.

Freeze in baby food cubes for up to 1 month; thaw and warm before serving.
