🍅🍠 Tomato & Cocoyam Blend (7 Months +)
Ingredients (1–2 baby portions)

½ cup cocoyam, peeled and diced

½ medium tomato, peeled and deseeded (to reduce acidity)
-
¼ small onion, finely chopped (optional for mild flavor)

¾ cup water or homemade vegetable stock (no salt)

1 teaspoon olive oil or unsalted butter
Preparation Steps
1. Cook the Cocoyam

Add cocoyam and water/stock to a small saucepan.

Simmer for 8–10 minutes until very soft.
2. Add Tomato (and Onion if Using)

Add chopped tomato and onion to the pot.

Continue cooking for 2–3 minutes until tomato is softened.
3. Blend or Mash
-
For Stage 1: blend until completely smooth.

For Stage 2: mash until soft with small chunks.
4. Add Healthy Fats

Stir in olive oil or butter before serving.
Storage

Refrigerate for up to 24 hours.

Freeze in baby-sized portions for up to 1 month.
