🍘🥚 Mashed Kenkey with Egg Sauce (8+ months)
Ingredients:
For Mashed Kenkey:

½ ball soft white kenkey (preferably fermented for mild flavor)

2–3 tbsp warm water or breast milk (to mash)
For Egg Sauce:

1 small egg (hard-boiled or lightly scrambled)

1 tsp finely chopped onions
-
1 tsp tomato purée or freshly blended tomato

A drop of vegetable oil or unsalted butter

A pinch of baby-friendly seasoning (optional)
👩🍳 Instructions:

Prepare Kenkey Base:

Remove wrapper from kenkey and mash it smoothly with warm water or breast milk to baby’s texture needs.

Set aside.

Make Egg Sauce:

Sauté onions and tomato purée in a drop of oil or butter until soft.

Add in mashed or finely chopped boiled egg (or soft scrambled egg).

Stir until well blended into a soft sauce.

Combine & Serve:

Mix the warm egg sauce with mashed kenkey.

Let it cool slightly and serve warm.
