🎃🌿 Pumpkin & Spinach Blend (7+ months)

Ingredients:

  • ½ cup boiled pumpkin (peeled and diced)

  • 1 small handful fresh spinach leaves (washed and chopped)

  • 2–3 tablespoons breast milk, formula, or water (to blend)

  • ½ teaspoon unsalted butter or vegetable oil (optional)


👩🍳 Instructions:

  1. Cook the Pumpkin:

    • Boil diced pumpkin until soft (about 10–12 minutes).

    • Drain and let it cool slightly.

  2. Steam the Spinach:

    • Lightly steam the spinach for 1–2 minutes until wilted to preserve nutrients.

  3. Blend Together:

    • Combine pumpkin and spinach in a blender or mash by hand.

    • Add liquid gradually to achieve a smooth, creamy consistency.

    • Add a drop of butter or oil for richness (optional).

  4. Cool & Serve:

    • Let it cool to room temperature before serving.
