π°π Groundnut & Tomato Soup (8 Months+)
Ingredients

1 tbsp groundnut paste (unsweetened, unsalted peanut paste)

1 small tomato (peeled, deseeded, chopped)

1 small carrot (peeled, diced β optional for extra sweetness)

1β2 tbsp onion (very finely chopped β optional for toddlers)

Β½ cup low-sodium chicken/vegetable stock or water

1 tsp olive oil or unsalted butter
Instructions

Cook base

Heat oil in a small pot. Add onion and tomato, sautΓ© until soft.

Add carrot and stir for 2β3 minutes.

Add liquid & simmer

Pour in stock/water. Simmer until carrot (if used) is very soft.

Stir in groundnut paste

Add groundnut paste, stir until fully dissolved into the soup.

Simmer gently for 3β5 minutes (avoid burning).

Adjust texture

For 8β9 months β blend smooth into a creamy soup.

For 10β12 months β mash lightly and serve as a thick sauce with soft yam, rice, or millet porridge.
