🌰🎃 Groundnut & Pumpkin Blend (7 Months +)

Ingredients (1–2 baby portions)

  • ½ cup pumpkin, peeled and diced

  • 1 teaspoon smooth, unsalted groundnut paste (100% peanuts, no sugar/salt)

  • ¾ cup water or breastmilk/formula (for cooking use water, then add milk after cooking)

  • Optional: 1–2 tablespoons Dr. Annie Brown Rice Cereal for extra thickness


Preparation Steps

1. Cook the Pumpkin

  • Add diced pumpkin and water to a small pot.

  • Simmer for 8–10 minutes until very soft.

2. Add Groundnut Paste

  • Stir in the groundnut paste while the pumpkin is still warm so it blends smoothly.

3. Adjust Texture

  • For a smooth Stage 1 purée: blend until creamy.

  • For a slightly thicker Stage 2 texture: mash well with a fork.

  • If using Dr. Annie Brown Rice Cereal, stir it in after blending for a more filling meal.

4. Cool & Serve

  • Let cool to a safe temperature before feeding.


Storage

  • Store in the fridge for up to 24 hours.

  • Freeze in baby food cubes for up to 1 month.
