🌾🍌 Hausa Koko & Banana Mash (7 Months +)
Ingredients (1–2 baby portions)

2 tablespoons Dr. Annie Hausa Koko Dates Cereal (or very fine Hausa koko powder without sugar/salt)

½ small ripe banana, peeled

¾ cup water (or follow cereal cooking instructions)

Optional: 1–2 tablespoons breastmilk/formula (added after cooking)
Preparation Steps
1. Cook the Hausa Koko

In a small saucepan, mix Hausa koko cereal with a little cold water to make a smooth paste (prevents lumps).

Add remaining water and cook over low heat for 4–6 minutes, stirring continuously until smooth and slightly thick.
2. Mash the Banana

While the koko is still warm, mash banana separately with a fork until smooth.
3. Combine

Mix the mashed banana into the warm koko until well blended.

Add breastmilk or formula after cooking for extra nutrition and creaminess.
4. Serve Warm

Ensure it is at a safe feeding temperature before serving to baby.
