🌾🍲 Fish & Okra Soup (7 Months +)
Ingredients (1–2 baby portions)

2 tablespoons boneless white fish (tilapia, snapper, or sole — fully deboned and skin removed)

½ cup fresh okra, chopped (or sliced frozen okra)

1 small tomato, peeled and chopped (optional: deseed for less acidity)

¼ small onion, finely chopped (optional for flavor)

1 teaspoon Dr. Annie Brown Rice Cereal (or plain soft rice, cooked until very soft)

1 teaspoon olive oil or vegetable oil

¾ cup water or mild vegetable/fish stock (no salt)
Preparation Steps
1. Cook the Vegetables

Add okra, tomato, onion, and water/stock to a small pot.

Simmer over low heat for 5–6 minutes until okra is soft.
2. Add the Fish

Add the fish pieces and cook for another 3–4 minutes until they flake easily.
3. Thicken with Rice Cereal

Stir in brown rice cereal (or soft-cooked rice) and cook for another 2 minutes.
4. Blend or Mash

For Stage 1 weaning: blend into a smooth soup.

For Stage 2: mash lightly, leaving tiny soft pieces.
5. Add Healthy Fats

Stir in olive oil before serving.
Storage

Refrigerate in a sealed container for up to 24 hours.

Freeze in small baby portions for up to 1 month.
