🌾 Chicken & Pumpkin Stew (7 Months +)
Ingredients (1–2 baby portions)

2 tablespoons boneless chicken breast, chopped (or 1 teaspoon Dr. Annie Chicken Powder)

½ cup pumpkin, peeled and diced

2 tablespoons soft rice (short-grain or broken rice works best)

¼ small onion, finely chopped (optional for mild flavor)

1 teaspoon vegetable oil or olive oil
-
¾ cup water or homemade chicken stock (no salt)
Preparation Steps
1. Cook the Chicken

In a small pot, add chicken and oil.

Cook over low heat for 2–3 minutes until white and fully cooked through.
2. Add Pumpkin & Rice

Add pumpkin, onion, and rice to the pot.

Stir gently so everything is coated with the chicken juices.
3. Simmer Until Soft

Pour in water/stock and bring to a gentle boil.

Reduce heat, cover, and simmer for about 12–15 minutes until pumpkin and rice are very soft.
4. Blend or Mash

For Stage 1 weaning: blend until smooth and creamy.

For Stage 2 texture: mash with a fork or potato masher, leaving small soft pieces.
5. Serve Warm

Drizzle in a few drops of olive oil for healthy fats before serving.
