🌾🥑 Oats & Avocado Porridge (7 Months +)
Ingredients (1–2 baby portions)

2 tablespoons rolled oats (or baby oats for smoother texture)

½ small ripe avocado, peeled and mashed

¾ cup water (or use breastmilk/formula — add after cooking)

Optional: a pinch of cinnamon for gentle flavor (only if baby is used to it)
Preparation Steps
1. Cook the Oats

Add oats and water to a small pot.

Simmer over low heat for 5–7 minutes, stirring until soft and creamy.
2. Mash the Avocado

While oats are cooking, mash avocado in a bowl until smooth.
3. Combine

Stir mashed avocado into the warm oats until well mixed.

If using breastmilk or formula, add after the porridge has cooled slightly.
4. Serve Warm

Ensure it’s at a safe feeding temperature before serving.
Storage

Best served fresh.

Can be refrigerated for up to 12 hours; stir and reheat gently before serving.
