🍌🍗 Banana & Chicken Sauce (8 Months+)
Ingredients

½ ripe banana (mashed)

60g boneless chicken breast (skinless, finely chopped or shredded)

1 small carrot (peeled, diced)

2 tbsp onion (very finely chopped — optional)

½ small tomato (peeled, deseeded, diced — optional, for extra flavor)

½ cup water or low-sodium chicken stock

1 tsp olive oil (or unsalted butter)
Instructions

Cook chicken

In a saucepan, heat oil. Add chicken and sauté until no longer pink.

Add veggies

Add carrot, onion (if using), and tomato. Stir for 2–3 minutes.

Simmer

Pour in water or stock. Cover and cook for 15 minutes until everything is soft.

Texture for age

At 8–10 months: mash or blend into a thick sauce.

At 10–12 months: keep soft small chunks for chewing practice.

Add banana

Mash banana and stir it into the warm sauce right before serving.
