🍘🐟 Pumpkin & Fish Stew (7 Months +)

Ingredients (1–2 baby portions)

  • Β½ cup pumpkin, peeled and diced

  • 2 tablespoons boneless white fish (such as tilapia, snapper, or cod β€” ensure all bones and skin are removed)

  • 1 small potato, peeled and diced (optional for thickness)

  • ΒΎ cup water or homemade vegetable/fish stock (no salt)

  • 1 teaspoon olive oil or vegetable oil


Preparation Steps

1. Cook Pumpkin & Potato

  • Add pumpkin and potato to a small pot with water/stock.

  • Simmer for 8–10 minutes until very soft.

2. Add Fish

  • Add the fish pieces and cook for 3–5 minutes until fully cooked and flaking easily.

3. Blend or Mash

  • Mash with a fork for a Stage 2 texture, or blend until smooth for Stage 1 weaning.

  • Add a little cooking liquid to adjust thickness.

4. Add Healthy Fats

  • Stir in olive oil before serving.


Storage

  • Refrigerate for up to 24 hours.

  • Freeze in baby food cubes for up to 1 month.
