🎃🫘 Pumpkin & Beans Stew (7 Months +)
Ingredients (1–2 baby portions)

½ cup pumpkin, peeled and diced

2 tablespoons soft-cooked beans (black-eyed beans, butter beans, or any well-cooked mild bean)

¼ small onion, finely chopped (optional for mild flavor)

1 teaspoon olive oil or vegetable oil

¾ cup water or homemade vegetable stock (no salt)
Preparation Steps
1. Cook Pumpkin & Onion

Add pumpkin, onion, and water to a small pot.

Simmer for 8–10 minutes until pumpkin is very soft.
2. Add Beans

Add soft-cooked beans and continue cooking for another 2–3 minutes to blend flavors.
3. Blend or Mash

For Stage 1: blend until smooth and creamy.

For Stage 2: mash with a fork, leaving tiny soft bean and pumpkin pieces.
4. Add Healthy Fats

Stir in olive oil before serving for extra nutrition.
Storage

Refrigerate for up to 24 hours.

Freeze in baby food cubes for up to 1 month.
